Misijní výjezd Bihár 2013
Bohoslužba v Madhia Kamlavari (pondělí 23.9. 23:59 Bihár času) Tisk

(Service in Madhia Kamlavari, Monday 9/23, Bihar time 23:59)

Dan měl opět připravené kázání a tentokrát jsme byli požádáni o dvě písně. Protože jsme všichni zpěvní, rozhodli se nám to ztížit tím, že nám zapomněli přivézt kytaru. Nicméně jsme mužně odzpívali Žalm 150 a Otevřete brány hradeb kamenných.

Bohuslužby byly profesionálně nazvučené a profesionálně znamená hlasitě.

Celou dobu nás doprovázel třicetihlavý hlouček dětí a mládežníků a Sahní musel místy překládat až tři konverzace najednou.

EN: So another day has successfully passed. We are still in a good mood, sickness is still avoiding us, thanks to God and your prayers.

Today we travelled to Sahni´s village of birth, Madhia Kamlavari for a service. We were a little bit surprised that they take place on Mondays, but everybody in the village is a farmer and every day is a work day, so for them it doesn´t make a difference. Some of the children had to go to school, but some got a day off. The service takes place outside, there was a tent made of scarves and linens. Dan had prepared a preachment again and this time we were asked for two songs. Because we are all musical, they´ve decided to make it harder for us by not bringing the guitar along. Nevertheless we manly sang Psalm 150 and Open the gates to the stone ramparts. There was about 150 people at the service, half being christians, half hindu. They live in peace in the village, they make good friends, so unlike the day before, everything went in a friendly spirit and after the service we spent several minutes by smiling and friendly gesturing at each other.

The service was professionally sounded and in this case that means loudly. Six preachers took turns behind the rostrum. The programme was little hard for us to follow, praises, prayers and preaching followed fluently one another. Dan not only had a preaching about *Who is Christ for you* but a word for children aswell. The theme was *light*, but as the indian children are not affraid of dark, and they don´t know what a sea is, the point got lost a little bit. :-) Nevertheless it was a good example, because otherwise the children get sometimes bored during a 4 hours long service. We are technically improving, so we are adding a picture from the service aswell.

After the service we prayed for more indian brothers, and then we all had lunch together. For some reason, we ended up in a group of the important people, so we ate after everybody else. The others had a good time watching us while we ate mutton curry, rice and yoghurt. We are getting better in eating with our hands though. After the lunch we discussed the local church system with the preachers. Then we went for a walk through the village, we visited the house of Sahni´s parents, their rice field, local teahouse and a school. The whole time we were accompanied by about 30 children and teenagers and Sahni had to translate upto three conversations at a time.

What I can´t leave unmentioned is the journey there and back. Marek has mentioned it before, but each time in the car is a brand new experience. Our driver´s name is Umesh, or at least we think so. He is perfectly flegmatic even when the chassis of his jeep scrapes the ground, when he can´t get out of the holes in the ground or when the car rides in a 45° angle. He can get through almost everything. He tried to persuade us that he would somehow get through a half meter deep and half meter wide canal. Luckily we managed to persuade him not to try it, who knows how that would´ve ended. His specialty today was a fast ride on a very narrow road. We don´t completely understand how he managed to fit the car on a road that to us seemed too narrow for two adults and even succesfully pass a bike on one side and motorcycle on the other. Kudos to him.

Thank you all for your prayers. People here are enthusiastic and, to our observation, opened towards the evangelium. The conditions here are hard for us Europians, but as Sahni says *If there wasn´t darkness here, there would be no need for light.*

Lord be with you!

Ubytování a naše služba ve sboru v Rajnagaru (neděle 22.9. 22:00 Bihárského času) Tisk

Mili bratri a sestry,

My to tu ted zazivame vic do hloubky.

Dnes rano jsme meli jet do sboru v Rajnagaru.

Nedelni shromazdeni melo zacit v 9. Diky zpozdenemu taxiku jsme meli asi hodinu zpozdeni. Vsichni nechali sve boty pred vchodem a bylo to skvele.

Zacalo se modlitbou, pisnemi a svedectvimi. Sahni nam trochu prekladal. Mezitim dorazilo dalsich asi 40 lidi, kteri slyseli pisne a kazani z obrovske bedny.

Dostali jsme take maly darek do sboru na Praze 13.

Daniel jim zopakoval evangelium a pozadal je, at vse odevzdaji Jezisi.

Prisel i reditel hotelu, se kterym jsme popili kafe. A samozrejme trochu zpropagovali Ceskou republiku a nase jidlo a pivo.

Zaciname si zvykat na neustale troubeni a cvrkot na ulici a take na velkou chudobu.

Jsme Bohu moc vdecni za vase modlitby. Zatim jde vse podle planu, nic nam neschazi, jsme zdravi a Pan nas uci nove a nove veci od bratri a sester zde v Indii. At uz o Sobe - jaky je, ale i o tom, jaci jsme my.

S laskou v Kristu,

Daniel, Jakub, Marek

EN: Accomodation and our ministration in the Rajnagar community (Sunday 9/22, 22:00 Bihar time)

Dear brothers and sisters,

thanks to God we are okey and we are learning with every step.

We knew India was a very different country with different culture, but only being here yourself, will make you realize, what it really means. We are experiencing this very deeply.

Our journey went very well, thanks for all your prayers. Our hotel is in the europian style, which means clean beds and bathrooms and, whats very refreshing, the air condition. It´s very pleasant despite the fact it´s on only when the mains are on. When the mains are off, which is since the morning till 6pm, everything is run by a generator therefore the air condition is off. During the day the temperature reaches 35°C.

This morning we were meant to travel to Rajnagar. Our driver Umesh didnt arrive at 7,30, because he overslept so we had to wait for about an hour. After that we went with Sahni and his family (his wife Nila, her sister Juli, daughters Diksha and Rishika) to Rajnagar. It was 9 of us in a car for 7 people, which is perfectly normal here, there is usually 5-9 people on a 3 seater riksha.

The Sunday service was meant to start at 9 am. Because of the delayed taxi we arrived 1 hour late. It was no problem, we even stopped in a house of one of the brothers for a breakfast. The service then started 2 hours late. It was in a countryside, in a simple room made of bamboo sticks for about 30 people. There were no chairs, everybody was sitting on the floor so actually about 120 of us fit in, in the end.

We started with a prayer, songs and testimonies. Sahni was translating for us. Another 40 people arrived in the meantime, because they had heard songs and preaches. The sound system was amateurish so the sounds got carried far away. The local poeple built shelter for another 20 people in the meantime and the rest got crammed in the room with us. People had their own fans and there were some ventilators aswell.

Marek had a short testimony, how he miraculously met Sahni, then Daniel preached about Zacchaeus. After that Jakub had a short testimony how God knows us all by name. We also sang psalm 150 with a guitar that they prepared for us, we only had to tune it.

During the service we prayed for one of the sisters who had a bad spirit about her.

We also received a small gift for our church in Prague.

After the service we were giving away gifts to the local children from the children of our own church. It was a very strong moment, the children were very happy.

After a while, several hindu appeared, who called the journalists. The journalists wanted to make an interview about how we´re turning hindu to christianity. Luckily our brothers saw through that and they sent them away quickly. There were loads of angry people around the car, but luckily everything ended well. The locals weren´t surprised, because there where people live without Christ, they are often similarly tested.

After the service 30 of us, including children, had a lunch together. Women didnt eat with us. That is normal here. They were laughing at us a little, as we struggled with eating with our hands, but we did our best.

Three boys came to us before the lunch and asked us to pray, so they would have blessings in their lives. Daniel repeated them the evangelium and asked them to give everything to Jesus. After some consideration they´ve decided to follow the Christ. We prayed together and after that we prayed for other people in the building who asked us for it.

We returned to the hotel around 5pm to settle plans for next day with Sahni. We bought some Coke and we tried to recall the luxury of Europe in our cool room.

We shared a coffee with the hotel manager. And of course we promoted the Czech republic, our cuisine and beer.

Everything is very intensive here, but not rushed. We are starting to get used to all the beeping, chirrup in the streets and a big poverty.

We are grateful to our God for all your prayers. So far, everything goes according to plan, we have everything and we are healthy. Lord teaches us new and new things from brothers and sisters here in India. Not only about the way He is, but about the ways we are aswell.

With love in Christ,

Daniel, Jakub, Marek

Jsme na místě (sobota 21. 9.) Our arrival (Saturday 9/21) Tisk

sobota 21. 9. 2013 21:44 (Indie update 22.9. 00:59) Jsme na místě. Cesta autem z Patny dobrodružná,  cca 5 hodin na 150 km. Dálnice končící 30 cm stupněm a pokračování stěrkovou cestou. Jízda v protisměru.  A hlavně profi  flegmatický řidič. DaJaMa

EN: We´ve hit the spot. The journey by car from Patna was adventurous, 150 km in 5 hours. The highway ends with 30 cm high step, after that it´s a gravel road. People driving in opposite direction. And mainly a pro, flegmatic driver. Even then it looks like a collision half the time. We are weaving between pedestrians, cows, motorcycles, trucks and mainly buses with Indians on the roofs and on the sides. Everybody is beeping the horns. Hotel D.G. in Madhubani is quite alright. We had a great meal at Sahni´s. Indians are pretty hard to read. Please, pray for Sahni´s wife and daughters, so they would give themselves to the Lord. Tomorrow, we are joining a service in village Rajnagar. DaJaMa
